Flexecare Home Care is keeping appraised of updates relating to the continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the UK (information disseminated by all the relevant agencies including Gov.UK). We are routinely monitoring developments, reviewing our protocols, and preparing appropriate responses as the situation evolves.
Flexecare Home Care is committed to ensuring all steps are taken to protect the health and wellbeing of all our Clients, Staff, Relatives/Advocates and Professional Colleagues (Multi-Disciplinary Team),
just as we have done previously in preparation for and during virus outbreaks,
Flexecare Home Care continues to work closely with Health Authorities, UKHCA and Care Regulators in order to protect everyone and maintain service delivery. This Continuity Plans is constantly under review in preparation for a possible escalation of the outbreak.
All staff have been trained in COVID-19 Awareness.
Openness and transparency are vital during this time and we call upon relatives/advocates to inform the office if they are presenting with any symptoms or have been diagnosed with this virus.
If a family member lives in the same property as the Client and is presenting with the symptoms, please isolate in a separate room particularly when the Support Workers visit.
Conversely, should a member of staff present with symptoms they will self-isolate.
We believe that by working very closely together during this time, we can take the appropriate steps and actions as required.
